Dude, that's so wrong.

I was supposed to go with my sifu but his son had a movie premeir(sp?) in Hong Kong about 2 months before so he didn't go. Joe and his Sifu said it was ok if I tagged along with them to the celebrations but I didn't go. So I could've been in those photos having a geat time to but I didn't get my stuff together in time now Joe's rubbing salt in my wounds.

Ironsilk,

Thanks for the headsup on that pic... The girl is about 18 and is a student of my sihing Joe Kwong at the Chinese Univ of Hong Kong...

You all really missed a great time...

What was great about this was... all these people together and it wasnt a tournament where everyone is hard at work doing something...

Simon,

Unfortunately I am back in the states, was only in HK for 2 weeks with a 1 day trip to china... Now I am recovering from an eye injury from Lion Dance on the Plum Flower posts.... I would rather have broken a leg or something, no use of your eyes is the worst...

If you do go to HK let me know, or check our schools web links... I can introduce you to some people if you like...

Cool! Will do! Master Chau is originally from HK and he instructed me that I "HAD" to go there at least once before I come back to Canada but I don't know when.

ironsilk,

Freak accident... Not sure if my partner kicked me with his heel or scratched me with his finger... We were practicing without the lion... We do a seqeunce of jumps and the last one he goes over my head (im the tail)... And I run down the poles with him up in the air like this pic...

http://www.leekoonhungkungfu.com/images/NY04AJLion2-big.jpg

So, I am almost 100% now...

And please guys... no hate joe clubs... Dont hate the playa hate the game...

hee hee hee...

if any of you have the chance to go to a banquet hosted by the monkey king, you may get to meet some of those cats since he is real close to them...

The monkey king is very cool with me, like an uncle... One of his students was Chan Koon tai...

Funny Story about him... I would be sleeping at Master Chow Keung's school/ house... At 7am in the morning I would hear "ding-dong, ding-dong"... I get up and who is it?... Chan Koon Tai... I'm like, what are you doing hear so early...? He is just getting back from playing Mah Jong all nite... I'm like your over 60, Im 32, isnt this suppose to be the other way around...?

Here is one of my child hood heros and I am like his parent letting him at night and telling him to practice more. lol...

BTW, JamesC, thanks for the compliment... but im just another guy who just loves kung fu...

But it was like magic this time in Hong Kong...

If any of you ever go there and wanna train... Try and look up Masters Chow Keung & Joe Kwong, they are excellent and that craft and just great people... I cant thank them enough for their constant support and love...
