Dr. Liu Guohui a researcher specializing in Urology and Andrology at Chengdu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine says: Although the bladder of afflicted patients exhibit signs of inflammation and subsequent ulceration, the disease has not been linked to an infectious agent. According to Dr. Guohui, the primary symptoms which usually involve diminished urinary capacity, frequent and painful urination with the presence of blood should be treated similar to the way one would treat Prostatitis or one of the other "damp heat" conditions. He goes on to say that more often herbal formulas are used that contain hemostatic herbs to stop bleeding and alleviate pain combined with others that promote urination and drain heat. Dr. Guohui reccomends different formulas for acute Lin Zheng (urinary difficulty) and chronic conditions. If you are interested in the formulas, you can contact me at www.seaofchi.com
