Battle at the Boardwalk gloves

My kwoon is having some kids compete at the Battle at the Boardwalk in the San Da sparring division. I am having a prob finding gloves (6,8,10 oz) for them...I am unsure if regular sparring gloves will be ok...and recommendations?

Do you know if there willbe padded weapons for those competing in the combat weapons division?
