just saw this flick last night. it was awesome i can see were so many film makers were influenced by it. from the night club scene in the killer to jim jarmarsh(i think thats how you spell it) ghost dog. really great film. anybody who's interested in film making has to see this. melville is a genius!!!!

they just re-released it in the criterion collection. so you pretty much find it anywhere i rented it on netflix, you can buy it at virgin megastore or any video store. but i don't think blockbuster has it thou. just a bit of a warning it's not an martial arts movie. but if you love film and filmmaking this is something you half to see!
