hey i think i found a choy lee ho fut hung website that says chan siu hung was the adopted son of chan heung.

i will try to attach something tell me if that helps

Yes, Frank, that is him. His son is Chan Sai Mo, and believe it or not, he's in his nineties and still alive!!!

His brother was Chan Bo-Wing, and he was killed by the Japanese in the 40's. I got a lot of info on these guys- through people that knew them personally when I went there in December.

I'm arranging to meet him in April when I go Toi-San!

yeah the info came from a website connected the group of CHoy Lee ho fut hung guys, but they also list Chan Tai San as the student of Chan Sai Mo. actually they show a family tree.

if i can find the website i'll post it up.

on page 40 of the list of chinese names i sent you going back to chan heung Chan Shiu Hung's name is found on the 5th row down4th from the end.

it was interesting, chin siu hung was forced in 1942 at the age of 73 to fight in a karate type tournament in public against the japanese who thought they would easily win. but chin siu hun killed the guy in 20 seconds. then he and all of his students were gunned down and killed instantly by the japanese.
