what is the best style of Tai Chi?

To answer this question I think you'd have to first understand your base tai chi quan style deeply. Then you would analyze other styles trying to determine why other styles do things a certain way that may be different then the way you do. Assuming you've gotten this far you would then have to speculate which is superior methods without practicing them unless you have about 200 years to live and practice them. So needless to say its almost impossible question to answer. A better question would be who's the best tai chi teacher in my area or if your really ambitions in the country? Your best bet would be to find a teacher who has certain skills that you can see and feel that you don't possess. Good luck.
