Friday the 17th, 6pm-9pm
“UTILIZING TAIJI PRINCIPLES IN JOINT MANIPULATION”
In this one day workshop Tim will draw upon his extensive Taiji background (Chen / Yang / Sun styles) to offer insight in proper usage and realistic application of joint locks (Chin Na) found in all systems of Taiji. This seminar is geared for anyone of any style, as you will discover that Taiji principles are universal regardless of which martial art you practice. This evening will be a great introduction into this weekend’s power generation workshop giving you the practitioner more tools for your arsenal.
Saturday the 18th, 12-4pm
Sunday the 19th, 11-3pm
“APPLIED POWER GENERATION IN THE MARTIAL ARTS”
Join us as Tim breaks down the basic principles of various types of power, how to develop it, and how to apply it. Drawing upon 35 years of experience, Tim is one of the few teachers that can dissect a given technique from any style and explain it in a simple, down to earth manner.
Using all ranges of combat (kicks / strikes / locks / throws) Tim will demystify the “secrets” of Silk Reeling Power, Listening Power, Wave Power, creating space in your techniques, and many other forms of power generation (Jin), required in all aspects of combat. Learn coherent body methods based on wave’s of force.
• Unlock the ideologies of all martial arts and understand their usage in realistic applications
• Learn to become a more powerful, and efficient fighter
• Become a more solid push hands player
• Gain sensitivity (Ting Jin)
• Garner a deeper understanding of how the masters issued pinpoint explosive power in all their movements
