Hello everyone!

Just wanted to announce the seminars we are holding at our school in preparation for the First Chinese Kuoshu North Regional Tournament (usckfnorth.org)

Here's a list of scheduled seminars (they will all be free of charge):

Saturday, March 11th

Seminar: Introduction to Kuoshu Lei Tai for competitors and coaches.

Time: 3:00pm to 5:00pm

This seminar is highly recomended for both competitors and coaches that plan on fighting in a Chinese Kuoshu Lei Tai event.

Strategies
General rules & regulations
Conditioning
Preparation
Equipment
Common strikes and takedowns


Fee: FREE

Location: ZYKFA - 3361 E. Washington Av. Madison, WI


Thursdays, March, 23rd, 30th, April 6th and 13th

Seminar: Lei Tai Refereeing

Time: 8:00pm to 10:00pm

Please note that if you are not a certified USCKF judge/referee you must attend these seminars to be able to participate in the capacity of a judge/referee at the First Chinese Kuoshu North Regional Tournament.

Fee: FREE

Location: ZYKFA - 3361 E. Washington Av. Madison, WI



Saturday, April 29th

Seminar: Taolu (forms) Judging.

Time: 1:00pm to 9:00pm

Topics:


Taolu (forms) judging criteria and considerations for youth, handsets, weapons and two-person sets divisions
Continuous sparring (light contact) rules and regulations
Tai Chi Chuan division judging criteria
Judge and referee conduct, dress code and roles
General guidelines for the North Regional Tournament



Please note that if you are not a certified USCKF judge/referee you must attend this seminar to be able to participate in the capacity of judge/referee at the First Chinese Kuoshu North Regional Tournament.
