icons next to name

ok, i posted this in the medicine forum by accident. i deleated it,and now i am putting it here. hope this works. there are some cool icons next to the names on here. how do i go about putting one with my name ?

Go to your user preferences (or profiles - I forget) page and at the very bottom you'll see a section for loading an avatar.
