The funeral for this man was incredible. as i've said before, there was like a thousand people there and over 500 cars in the funeral procession.

it was right out of a "year of the dragon"movie. so i took a photo in the early a.m. before things got hot around the area.

i'm posting the pictures in a way to honor this man.

oh, my sifu can be seen in one of the photo's too. see if you can find him.

Thanks for sharing Frank. I'm interested in anything you are willing to bring out.

Here's a nice article and some pics:

hasayfu,

thanks for that.

well, i heard he was shot about 5 times. at the wake, a man we believe to possibly be his father was standing behind my sifu and I. we did our 3 bows at the open casket, but when the old man approached he completely broke down, they had to hold him up. it was sad to see a man cry like that.

where they had the wake it they had banners hanging from the walls, the priests were steady chanting. lots of people. they filled the sidewalks. this man had the respect of the chinese people.

I was real comfortable there because i already knew alot of the white crane students, plus most know me from hung sing anyway. i feel a very sad loss for them.

my thoughts of him are random for now, but the man was a very warm person. always had a smile on his face. but to know who he was, was very humbling. I'm not at liberty to say what i asked him, but one day at lunch my sifu said frank has something to ask you, and i was stunned because i was nowhere near ready, and almost shet on myself.

anyways, the papers got it wrong, there was far more than 80 cars in the funeral procession. from chinatown to the cemetary took almost two hours.

at the cemetary, many many people to say goodbye. many brought him all thethings he must have liked here because they were burning houses, planes, race cars, boats, casino's etc. hahahahahahahaha allen is going to be rich in heaven.

I'll miss seeing him in chinatown and always asking me where my sifu is.

Thanks but isnt it a sign of disrespect to show pics of the funeral? I dont know if that is a chinese custom or not i know i cant look at my Sifu's funeral pics i have without crying. That man, did so much for me mentally and physically, spirtually he has scared me for life.

Anyway hope the gods are looking after these oldies for us to hook up in heaven.

sorry, i tried to post up a local news report on Allen Leungs murder, but it won't pop up.

if you do a google search, type in abc news on allen leung murder if you get the newsstation abc, and you see allen's picture, under it is a clip that says video" chinatown's mystery.

on the news footage it has a cop walking around passing out flyers, the cool thing about that is that cop is a choy lee fut guy under my sifu's 1st sifu the late Master Bing Chan. he was a student of the lup mo studio.

but you also get some live footage of sf's chinatown as well.

if there is anyone who could help me place the link that would help a lot. i tried and couldn't do it right.
