If you are referring to Sifu Ng who studied under Ho Kam Ming, I can shed a tiny bit of insight. If it is the same person, I visited one his classes when he taught in San Diego. As a person he is a very nice man and was very accomodating to an out of towner visiting his class. What I noticed about the class is that the training was focused on making sure the students got the basics right - 20-30 minute siu nim tao, etc. The students also seemed to be very good, which I take as a reflection of their sifu, and knowledgeable. In terms of lineage I would love to study under him as he indicated he teahces the art the same way his sifu taugh him and Yip Man taught his sifu. The best advice, which is common on this board, is to stop in and visit. If it is the same person, I think you will be pleased.

Thanks for that Rindge.

It is the same Sifu Ng that you thought. I'm considering moving to Sarasota, and this seems to be the only CMA game in town. If and when I get there, I'll certainly be stopping by.
