I'm proud to announce that just 6 mo. after opening our doors, A fighter from our team had his first MMA fight.
Dan Gale won his match tonight vs. Chip Snyder at Next Level 3, in Steubenville OH.
Dan won via armbar in the second round after displaying a complete arsenal of striking, clinch, knees, takedowns and good ol' G&P before capitalizing on the submission.
Dan has been training MMA for 3 months. He is an amazingly quick student of the game and will be looking for another fight this summer.
As a team, Dan is just the first horse out of the gate and this summer there will be a few more guys following suit. (I'll be fighting in June.)
Thanks for the support tonight from all the other fighters and teams and it was a great night for all of us from Steel Valley Martial Arts & Fitness. We couldn't be more proud of Dan because we know how hard he's worked to be a winner.
