Hello,
Grandmaster Chen Qingzhou is a 19th generation direct descendent of the illustrious line
of the art in Chen Village , the place of its origin. In 1962 he was granted Rumen
status (Indoor Disciple) with re-known Chen Zhaopei 18th generation
successor and disciple of the famous Chen Fa-ke. From Chen Zhaopei he inherited Lao Jia
Yilu (Old Frame First Form) of Traditional Chen Family Taijiquan. In 1994 he was named
one of the twelve outstanding Taiji practitioners (Dai Shi) in the
world. Chen Qingzhou is known for his zhou hua (neutralizing skills) and has taught Old Style for approx. 50 years with over 10,000 students.
We will be having a seminar on the 15th and 16th in
Cleveland Ohio: Working on Push hands, Yi Lu (the first
form) and applications. Seminar should be a good time, and a nice chance to see someone that has been doing tai chi for over 60 years. Master Chen is very friendly and enjoys demonstarting all aspects of Chen tai chi.
Cost is $100 for 1 day and $180 for both.
