How's the weather where you're at?

Seattle is currently 51 F, overcast and a little breezy. Looks like the sun could break through today though. ;)

this was probably the weirdest summer we ever had. lots of rain, and a complete change, now in April, its autumn, but very cool mornings, hot afternoons and cool evenings again. looks like rain is on the way again, but we welcome everythihng.

I think Mark Twain said it best when he said "the best winter I ever spent was a summer in Seattle."

how do you convert celcius to fereignheit (how do you spell it anyway?) ?
80 degree sounds friggen hot, the hottest Johannesburg ever get is around 32 degrees Celsius, but the hottest place in SA usualy gets around 45 degrees.

The Florida weather is cool, I just dont like that wet sticky feeling you have over there. suppose thats what you get for living next to the ocean.

SA son is pretty harsh tho. even in the winter, the sun can really hurt you.

I think it was on Frasier (the tv show) where somone once said in Seattle it rains 360 days of the year. is it really that bad?

I hear London had a dry winter too.

**** Elninio -

ps- i think its time they add a spell checker to the reply box thing. ;)

The reason we have such a reputation for rain is because

1) It is overcast a lot and drizzly.

2) We have very short days in the winter.

So in the winter time here its overcast, it drizzles rain and the days are short.

But annually we get less rain then a lot of place. I think Florida might get more rain than us because of all the thunder showers.

over cast on JHB too. Pretty cool for April (or rather for JHB really). outside it looks like summer, leaves still on trees, grass still green etc, but it feels like winter.

hows things in Ozzie Land?

worst part of this time is, its soon the rugby season. everywhere you can see will be kids in rugby outfits and stuff, rugby on 3 of the 4 national tv channels, and rugby every saterday every where you look. Did I mention I hate rugby?
