YMAA used to link to where one could purchase an "Authentic Wooden Taiji Ball". However, now that link is MIA (I think due to their recent promotion). Can anyone direct me to where I can purchase a wooden Taiji ball?

I have steal Tai Chi balls. But I think they may be the only pair...I'm not thinking of parting with them, either as I train with them myself at least twice a day.

I don't know about wooden balls (never used them), but if you're looking for stone ones, Atomic Athlete sells them. A little bit pricey, though, IMHO.

That ball says it's specially crafted for light weight ... WTF??? Why would anybody want to use a very light ball?

Yeah if you're just looking for a small lightweight ball, just get a medicine ball or something. They sell them down at the fitness store.

I assume for beginners, feeble folks, and/or those that don't know any better.

I'm #1 and was #3 untill I was reminded of stone balls :D

A cheaper alternative is to go to your local thriftstore and buy a bowling ball for about 5$...wrap it in duct tape for a better grip

It is noteworthy that the Taiji Ball QiGong is not intended to be a conditioning exercise or strength building program.. in fact, it is intended to eventually discard the ball once the student understands the flow and harmony of moving Qi to and through an object (wood works best due to its natural qualities...)

Be well...
