Invitation only? hmmm...let me look into my chrystal ball here...I predict...all Wah Lum and...whats this...Choy Lay Fut. Luckily I will be in China.

"Instructors whose students have not participated in previous tournaments must request an application form, which will be evaluated to determine whether a formal invitation will be extended."

Seems pretty god**** arrogant for what they put out. It's a racket like any other.

my school has not been invited to attend. we have competed in Mr. Scrima's event in the past, and in years we haven't competed, we have paid entrance fees to watch. perhaps it's an oversight, however there aren't too many kung fu schools in the neighborhood, certainly few "Hakka".

we would like to continue to support the organizations that promote kung fu via public events. i personally feel an exclusionary tournament limited to organizations who have contributed the most dollars in the past doesn't further our collective best interests which should be to showcase the highest talent or further the cause of martial arts.
