i was thinking it would be pretty cool if there was a way to train the 6 senses to become stronger without going through long periods of sensory deprivation. i don't know if there is a curriculum for sense training out there or if anyone has anyideas regarding it but thats what forums are for right?

i know you can definately train the vestibular sense, and i think push hands is a lot like training touch (i could be wrong though), but sight, smell, hearing, and taste could be a little more difficult.

for vision you can train your perception speed through various ways.

actually, you train it every day.

a training method:

light a stick of incense. have your eyes follow the smoke that whisps from its tip. its constant change in direction will help your eyes to more quickly spot movement. this i learned from a japenese practitioner, he said it has been part of his trianing in his family for as long as he knows.

oh poo, got to go to lunch. ill post more stuff later.
