I don't know about Shaolin styles in the west, but there are definately western styles. Tian shan pai is one. Also in xinjiang, there is a huge Hui (chinese moslem)
population, and all their styles are present. eg. Cha, Hua, Liuhe, tantui, the more exotic styles, etc...
Also i have heard that the western styles are famous for their staff techniques.

I believe every region of China has its own unique Gongfu.

Sorry I don't know more about the shaolin arts in this area.
