I'm writing an article on balance training for Current Health, which is a monthly magazine published by Weekly Reader and distributed in middle schools and high schools throughout the U.S. I'm posting in the hope of finding a few teens who include balance training as part of their preparation for martial arts. Ideally, I'll hear from a few middle school and a few high school students. If you're interested in answering a few questions by e-mail, write me (scott@scottdouglas.biz). If you want to confirm that I'm legit, go to my Web site (http://www.scottdouglas.biz).

Thanks,

Scott Douglas

Teens with a holistic approach to liefstyle and training...hmmmm. No offense, but good luck with that. You're not gonna find much deep insight into balance from a teen. no offense, but the rudiments do not exist. Your find will be very rare and non relateable. Not a dig, just saying.

Sorry, I should have been clearer in my original post. By "balance training" I mean physical tasks done to improve one's balance, such as working on a wobble board, not "balance" in the sense of integrating the various spheres of one's existence.

I can ask my daughter if she is interested. She will be 16 next month.

The magazine is called Current Health (http://www.weeklyreader.com/teens/current_health/). It's published by Weekly Reader (http://www.weeklyreader.com/).

My deadline is coming up soon, so quick responses would be great. Thanks.
