I think the biggest moral or chan of the story;

is that MA is application based.

How mantis grabs and deals with the stick from the student monk;

he copied and practiced with a wooden dummy.

A year later, winter, summer, fall again;

the student monk uses the mantis methods to grab and deal with the staff from the teacher monk who came back from a long trip of Hua Yuan.

I'd have to say that the chan was more about perserverence though.

the animation style was really good. I like that flavour, very old school.

the ch'an was the entire piece from start to end. It's a process.

That was truly awesome, the music, the style, the soft pastel colors....it was all excellent

the beginning reminds me of the Ezine about sweeping leaves.
