Iron shirt and stuff like that develop or use chee with certain mixtures of breathing and external methods.

A way to develop chhe might be to...

...walk through the air as if it were earth; and though burried in earth, walk as if through air.

Breathing techniques to strengthen the soft stuff (muscles & guts), tapping massage with wooden sticks for the hard stuff (ribs).

You will certainly have to get a teacher and not a book to realistically learn any/all these.

I thought that the tappings and massage with sticks also, sent vibrations through the body ... which stimulated the internal organs (soft stuff).
