Does anybody know if there is a southern dragon style out there that is not from Lung Ying or Bak Mei / CLC influenced.

I've heard some rumors of a Green Dragon style, or dragon forms in five animal styles, but it seems like most of the teachers out there are either Northern or from CLC.

This is the only 'Green Dragon' I have ever heard about. But you can see it is not a style, but an ammalgamation of different styles under one roof. I have also heard about different color 'dragons' listed, such as green, ruby, black, etc., but this is listed under Lung Ying and supposed to represent different facets of LY. I have not come across this in my own LY training and I dont know if there is much to it. Bill

Here's the one using multiple colours (though they call the style itself Green Dragon): http://mywebpage.netscape.com/fsmtkfa/LuLongHsingPai.html Seems a little arogant to me, too lol :D

Came across another guy online about a year ago who did Green Dragon kungfu, but I don't remember any details about it...

The most popular Southern Dragon in the west is Dong Jiang Long Xing or Lung Ying (in Cantonese). There is one Fujian Dragon style called Long Jun (Majestic Dragon). There is no proof that the 2 styles are related; however, Dong Jiang Long Xing (East River Dragon Style), which is considered a Hakka art, might have its root in Fujian Hefa (Fujian Crane Method).
