My master Shi Decheng once did that too, as a joke. He was trying to show us all how to do aerials, working from a one-hand cartwheel. Then he said to get lighter and lighter with the hand until we were just doing one-finger cartwheels, then work towards doing it with the pinky finger. He was laughing all the way, demonstrating each technique to further the joke. The amazing thing was that he was holding an open can of soda in his other hand, and he would rather casually turn his wrist as he did the aerials, so as not to spill it.

Yeah, I guess that would be a chuckle. Probably more so when you reveal the secret and then tell them they are going to do it.
