Choy li fut Double butterfly knives vs spear

I learned a choy li fut double bs sword vs spear form about 12 years ago that came from the lee koon hung choy li fut lineage.

I have recently come across a video by tat mau wong that has a double butterfly knife vs spear form that is almost exactly the same as the double broadsword vs spear a learned years ago.

Can anyone tell me which is traditional or can the same form be done with double broadswords or double butterfly knives?

its the same form...

Butterfly or broadswords... The older way was the butterfly swords...
