building to building jump, lands on edge, but not far enough in. loses his balance and falls down onto his back. single to one and a half story fall. for the few remaining seconds of the film, he does not move.

Would it have been better if his feet missed entirely and he'd have had a chance to grab hold of the edge of the buildin like you see in all thhe movies. Or would he just have road-rashed the whole front of himself as he slid down the side of that brick building?

ya, i bet it would have been better if he missed entirely. survival instinct would have taken control and he likely would have grabbed the ledge.
