Push Hand Competition
Hosted by Grandmaster Li Tai Liang

Seminar:
This seminar by Grandmaster Li Tai Liang teaches the “Four Golden Rooster” form of Xingyi Quan, the core and foundation hand form of the Xingyi Quan system. Grandmaster Li is the fifth generation inheritor of the Shanxi Xingyi Quan lineage with over 25 years of teaching experience. In this seminar, students will be learning in depth the correct method of developing the power of the movements and how to utilize this power in real combat situation. This is a 2 hours seminar starting at 9:00a.m.

Demonstration:
Instructors, disciples, and students in the Xinyi Dao system will demonstrate their skills acquired over the years so that everyone has an idea of where they stand compare to their peers. People outside of the Xinyi Dao system will also have the opportunity to demonstrate their own skill. The demonstration will be sometime in the afternoon followed by the Push hand competition.

Push Hand:
Push hand competition is free to everyone attending this event. There will be two push hand competitions, stationary and moving push hands. The winners of the stationary and the moving push hand competitions will receive a first place certificate.

BBQ:
BBQ party will start after the seminar. Students are also encouraged to bring their own specialty food from home. This is the time for people to meet some new faces, discuss about their training, and share some training ideas with others.
