Has anyone experienced this style with Master Su?
Is he legit? As I've heard, Pachi(Baji) is a very rare art.

Do yourself a favor and go meet this man. You will not believe how "legit" he is.ΓΌ

if you did not see his website already here is the link (http://www2.micro-net.com/~ycsu/mastersu.html) You can also find more information and a good bio at the link for Chi Kung International. (http://chikungintl.com/) His Baji comes from the best but ask him about Praying Mantis. ;)

Master Su is extremely knowledgeable. However, he does not speak English: He does speak Spanish! His students translate at his seminars and do a very good job. He is also a lot of fun to be around with. I don't think you can lose going to one of his seminars. His mantis techniques are superb along with bagua, baji, etc.. He was one of GM Liu's top disciples and has schools in Japan, South America and New York.

He also has trained fighters that do well against Muy Thai

I just recieved one of his Baji videos in the mail, and he's really top notch. I give him a 5/5 smiley rating :) :) :) :) :)

Brad:

You would also like his pigua video. The applications are really interesting and the single moving exercises and first level forms are exactly how we trained and learned.

You also have had a chance to see what GM Liu looked like and on the pigua tape, you will see Master Su play when he was very young. You can get a good feel for what is meant by traditional forms: not very pretty but there is a certain solidness about them.

If you get any of his other tapes, please post. I have a feeling his bagua tapes should be very good too.

I'll probably git the Piqua video eventually, but this one will probably be sucking up most of my time as it is. Plus I allready know a little Baji(very little actually). I really love the way he does the applications on the video, especially when they put on the sparring gear. The mini manual is a really nice touch too. A lot of info crammed into one little video.

Master Su Yu Chang is definitely a treasure in the arena of Chinese Martial arts. For a man who is 60+ years old, he is still lightning quick. I have attended his seminars before and he is amazing. Actually we will be sponsoring him to come up to Anchorage, Alaska for a seminar in Ba Gwun (Preying Mantis Double Stick Form) and 18 Lohan Qi-gong. If you have the opportunity to train with him, take full advantage of it.

I knew you fellow Wu Tang'ers would be here soon. Anyone who has ever experienced hands on with Master Su understands and never forgets. Master Su and Jason have a new organization called Chi Kung International. (http://chikungintl.com/) I have recently begun working on their website. Please come visit and help kick off the open forums there. I know it is slow to get started but we hope to make this the best resource for good information about Chi Kung, Kung Fu and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Your participation would be appreciated. BTW, did I mention we have Dr. Su's videos available at the site? :D

Count,

Hey thanks for the kind words. I did not realize I looked like a killer while gettting pounded by sifu...hehehehe! I am glad that the article went well with Sifu Tsou and the Baji group! I am planning to write a couple more, but right now I am taking a break from writing and concentrating on school and my internship. Please give my regards to Sifu Tsou and your kung fu brothers in LA.

If you saw it, he must have been going slow for demonstration purposes.
