A generous amount of cash in a red packet usually goes down well ;)

a bottle of brandy, box of candy, and oranges. as well as a lai-see are traditional gifts. Never give a watch or a clock.

but in China, the amount says something different . Take the advice from the article that TenTigers posted. Make sure the money you give comes out to a lucky number. 8s are great for lai see.

okay thanks everybody!!! You helped me a lot...

Well the training is not for free so is it ok if I buy what u recommendet and put the trainings fee in a red envelope ...?
So when Im there I will give the gift and when I give the red envelope seperatly I tell them this is the trainings fee so they wont think this is also a gift and not the trainings fee...

Purchase Him a decent portable CD player, and get him a few CD's of Johnny Cash's greatest Hits.

You will be amazed at the delight and glee on his face as he opens that gift:)

After that, you will no longer have to put forth any money for training as Johnny Cash Music is priceless and timeless and this Master will feel so fortunate:)
