I need some help. I have recently had surgery on my right shoulder and I have a limited range of motion because of it. I probably have about 2 month left in my recovery (actually I'm recovering much quicker!) and I have delayed my joining of Mai Lun school due to my limited use.

I am doing my long form to the best of my ability. Do you know of any one handed practice? Do you think I should let Choi sifu know of my condition or delay enrollment?

Let Choi sifu know your condition. It's the *right* thing to do, considering you've had surgury. It's also the *right* thing to do, because, as an instructor, Choi sifu has to know what to expect given your condition, and adjust accordingly. You also may want to inform him in his capacity as a doctor of Chinese medicine.
