I find it interesting the Frank talks first about Distance and Awareness as one of the main counters to a takedown. IMO Distance and Awareness (perception) are two of the main keys to success in combat, whether against a takedown or anything else that can come at you. It is also interesting when Frank talks about footwork, and moving to the side, away from the oncoming directions of the force. Of course this is not always possible when the takedown is timed correctly with speed of movement, that is when the Sprawl takes over..
