I am brand new to this forum and have trained HungGa for alittle over 1 year now. I used to be very big into the marial art movies when in grade and high school, but faded out over time and lost interest in what was available at that time. When my interest rekindled and I found my sifu for Hung Ga, I started to read your magazine when ever I was in a bookstore. I figured I could get what I could to help me through the initial training. Usually, when reading these mags, you don't figure to know the people in them. Imagine my surprize when I saw the May/June issue and on the cover, was not only my sigung, but my sitaigung in a magazine with a healthy supply of HG knowledge.

Since I am fairly new, I know that there is some disconnect through all styles in lineage vs lineage. In your mag all seems to be represented, and I like that. My lineage is from Tang Fung, and I am finding out that the Lam Sai Wing lineage is the more common or popular.

My goal is to become the best student I can be, and so far I have been able to gleen knowledge from all lineages I have seen in this forum and in your mag. I am now a subscriber to both. Keep up the good work. I am an infant in both my style and TCMA, and I need all the help I can get.

Our Hung Ga - Wong Fei Hung Collector's Issue (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=650) was a fun one. Another classic issue for Hung Ga was our Southern Special in Sept 98 (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=85). We did a few more Hung Ga pieces recently. Here's some others you might like to check out:
