Good thought there. Here's one I like:
An ignorant man ages like an ox. His flesh may increase, but not his understanding

(Should possibly read man/woman !)

why bother saying anything at all when you're just going to retract it all in the end?

why bother saying anything at all when you're just going to retract it all in the end?

SPJ

the journey of a thousand miles starts with one step.

one step at a time.

one posture/move at a time.

etc etc.

If a bear shlts in the woods and no one is there to smell it, does it really smell?

Observation about MA;

" What is the sound of one hand clapping ?"

meaning it takes two hands to have a sound of clapping.

meaning it takes a partner to practice your moves.

or the sound of one hand clapping could simply be the same sound as getting slapped in the face. which takes two as well...

"look at the moon and not the finger pointed at the moon."

meaning paying attention to the functions and principles of a move/posture and not just the move/posture alone.

"there will be people running after something smelly/stink on the beach"

(usually things are smelly from the ocean)

an old Chinese saying.

Hai Bian You Zhu Xio Zhi Fu.

meaning something may be shlt to some and yet it may be a pearl to others.

It is all in the context.

meaning some move/posture may be bad in a certain context and yet it may be a perfect solution in some other context.
