Types of Qigong

Are there different "styles" of qigong? I've heard of qigong, medical chigong, fire dragon qigong. What's the difference between these and can the benefits in them be had by practicsing anyone of them?

from what i know, there are hundreds of qigong sets. i practice yiquan standing qigong, 8 brocade qigong, and 18 lohan qigong. i do these to augment my taiji.
i've heard of medical, martial, and spiritual qigong. i've seen books by yang jwing-ming and mantak chia on the subject of qigong.
