Been training in MA for a while. Just had my first Yang style class.

Sounds like a good start for you. What form are you learning that gives such immediate results? I realize you have been training for a while, but it takes about a year to learn the Yang 108 correctly. I hope you have found a good teacher who can teach you not only about the health benefits, but the martial applications as well. The grappling should be an excellent compliment to your kempo. But than, I think Tai Chi Chuan is an excellent compliment to any style. ;)

You never e-mailed me like I asked in the thread about Su Yu Chang seminar. Please e-mail me to discuss some other things. In our school we focus more on Chen style than yang but I have learned the long form (108) ala Tung family, and the standard 24. Also the sword from the Yang short. My main focus is, of course, bagua ;)

The form we did was called 12 palms. After working on that for about 20 minutes, my teacher had me sit and watch as they did the long form, which, I suppose, must be the 108 you talked about. They didn't perform the whole thing, but stopped at "cutting clouds." Even so, it was pretty intense to watch all three of them do it in unison. It is highly unfortunate that I will only be able to take a month of this class before I have to return to school in Baltimore. Know any good schools there?

Work on that if you work on anything. Trust me :)
Thats a months worth of learning and a lifetimes worth of energy!

Polygon,
I can't vouche for them but they seem good at a distance. Look for Joe Dunphy. Try Tien Shan Pai (http://www.tienshanpai.org/tienshanpai/index.shtml). They have a number of schools in that area and teach bagua, tai chi chuan, hsing-i and a system called tien shan pai. The host a large tournament for the US Koushu team every year which you just missed last week. But it might be a good start.
