I have just started studying at John Ding's school in South Woodford, and must say that I am fairly impressed by him. However, I would like some reassurance that he does teach you to be able to fight, so could you go tell me a bit about the combat training (if you know about it, of course :-)) side of things - he does not do a 'sparring' class because they do not spar, so I haven't really been able to get an idea of his what, specifically, he teaches in the way of combat training.
