I could be misinterpreting your thread, but If it's what I think you said, I believe Brendan Lai performs the form on this tape and demonstates a couple of it's applications. It's been a couple of years since I seen this video and it's not an instructional video.

Cha Quan is a completely separate and distinct system from TLQ. Although it did also originate from in and around the same region (Shandong, Hebei, Henan, Shanxi) and does share similarities.

Traditional Cha Quan would go onto to have a major impact / influence on contemperary wushu forms. In fact many of the movements found within the the Chang Quan division of contemperary wushu, were originally extracted and structured around the Cha Quan (as well as the Hua Quan) forms. Which forms in particular I do not know.

I want to qualify this by saying that training contemperary Chang Quan competition forms is still worlds away from training in a proper traditional Cha Quan system.

Here are a couple of samples of the net. I cannot garantee that they are forms from traditional Cha Quan, but that is what they were labled as on youtube.

As far as the way we do it, it doesn't look like Wushu. In fact Sifu Bill Despises Wushu. I'll get a video of the whole form for you and you can judge for yourself. Cause everything in the school is taught traditionally. :) Thanks for all your help too.

That is Wushu. We learn it a lot different. Actually the video of our school I posted has our version in the end. I'll still try to get a better video for you.
