Dr John, Bob, Scott and anyone else,

I was reading the classics of taiji and i stumbled upon these i was thinking do these 4 direction and corners use different Jings for the stated below like wind, thunder, lake, mountain such as like bagua would with there triagrams?

Maybe this has been asked 1000 times but very interested in the differences of these forces/jings if they are used or just directions and nothing to do with force?

Regards
Garry

The first four are the cardinal directions;
Ch'ien [South; Heaven],
K'un [North; Earth],
K'an [West; Water], and
Li [East; Fire].
The second four are the four corners:
Sun [Southwest; Wind],
Chen [Northeast; Thunder],
Tui [Southeast; Lake], and
Ken [Northwest; Mountain].

wardoff, rollback, press, push --4 primary directions
pluck, split, elbow strike, shoulder strike--4 corners
all different energies, different applications.
john, bob, scott, SPJ, bamboo leaf may be able to elaborate further.
