Any information on him or respected Masters in the LA area would be appreciated.

Traditional chinese way of teaching. But I leave in Europe, so no idea how it works in LA. I do not think he is actively teaching in LA. Maybe the son T. Chenwei.

Here is a video of Tung Ying-jie (Tung Kai-ying's father? Grandfather?) doing a form. It seems to start after the first Cross Hands posture, though. Good stuff.
