I'm surprised nobody answered this.

Lien = practice or train

Tao = set or arrangement

Chien = fist (boxing)

In a nutshell... training form.

Im not surprised.

I don't think many people here practice it for one thing.
I've only ever seen one publication on it that was a companion book to Chu Ka Shaolin the Phoenix eye fist and they showed essence parts of the training, discussed the art and I believe they showed a form.

If you don't have the book, like I don't, then it's not a big stretch to not know what it's called. :)

does anyone practice this style?

There was a Sifu here in Dayton , Ohio , that taught the Shantung Black Tiger style back in the 1980 s and 1990 s he retired in 1996 . I am trying to find him or any of his students but with know luck yet .

"Lien" can also mean "continuous" depending on what character we are talking about.
