Need info on Kong Jin -- Empty force training

Greetings,

I have an upcoming opportunity to learn this method. The teacher parallels this method to the Tumo, heat generating, methods of Tibet.

Does anyone have any experience with Kong Jin, pro or con?

Prof. Yu Pengxi (sp?) taught this and other qigong to my teacher. as far as i know, it is NOT a way to be able to strike someone from a distance during combat. more like a way to test/develop a student's sensitivity. i have been on the receiving end once, felt something strange, not very strong. a sihing of mine says he feels as if there is actually someone grabbing his body when he has been on the receiving end of this. beyond that, i have only speculation!
