I was at an MA business conference where they debuted the focusmaster....was really cool...a ton of arms and pads, so you don't need to find a pad holder to workout.

Costs a couple g's ($2500 min I think)

and TT is right, they sold the comapny to century about 2 years ago, so now century is the exclusive distributer.

The whole thig is made from standard fabrication stock, some spring rod, and vinal coated dense foam.

if it really costs 2500.00, who's gonna buy it, when it could be MADE for a few hundred tops?

thats why probably they will sell more of the spare parts than the focusmaster.

The problem is that the prices of spare parts ARE RIDICULOUS as well.

it's 8oo. in the century catalogue and if you have a school, you can get wholesale prices.

I think it's a good idea in theory but holly cr@p! That's a lot of freakin' cash. Additional targets and accessories are like $200 each! What a rip off!

You know, the masters that invented our arts made training gear from rocks, and tree limbs, and they worked just fine....

im gonna be dead honest here.

If you have a lot of money, and not much smarts, then by all means buy this tremendous piece of crap.

lol.

you'd get as much benefit and save more money kicking branches off of dead tres down by the river. :D
