Post counts?

Okay, this is odd:

Has anyone else noticed a fluctuation in thier post counts? Not that I *ultimatly* care, but last week I was close to 1000, then dropped to 900, now I'm down to 898. As far as I know there's no way to change your post count other than posting, so anyone have a clue as to how, or why it's happening?
