My Gong Fu instructor threw out a question in class which he has asked us to research.

As you progress through your patterns and through Gong Fu, your right hand side becomes important. Why?

Apparently there is also a spiritual element within the answer. My ffirst gues was, well you always follw the person to your right (forming up in class, doing your patterns etc), this was not the answer.

Anyone have any ideas??

right side = power side (if you are orthodox).

Also with your right side more towards your opponent your heart is ****her as well. It is a vital organ although I doubt most have the skill to do major damage it could be another reason.
