I saw these clips online and I had a few questions:

From the way the sets begin I believe they are MiZhongLohan but I am not certain!

1) I wanted to ask if this is Snow Flake Saber?

I don't want to sound too harsh, but it seems that they did not rehearse very much before the performance.

Especially the Mizong form- it looks like he was recollecting the form as he was doing it!

Yes the first one is a Mi Tsung Lo han Saber or otherwise known as Snow Flake Saber. It appears to be a variation in the stepping and flow but the core of the set is there.

Ok, I've seen part of snowflake saber, and that looks like I remember.

The second, however... the class I take did a seminar taught by Sifu Adam Reed (he flew down here from Colorado) on a form called "Shao Fu Yan" (Sp?) basically means something to the tune of "Roaring tiger, Swooping Swallow" so I'm told. The form had all of those same movements, but was much longer, with MANY additional sections. Perhaps the guy did an "abridged" version of the form?

So yeah, they look like Mizong Lohan/MyJhong LawHorn, but the second one is different than I was taught.

While this iteration of the form is slightly different, has more kicks, and looks to have a very good Mantis Flavor, I would have to concede this is the form! The "signatures" are all there (the salute-to-kick at the beginning, the sweeps, the "windmill") It's neat to see the variations from style to style on certain "universal" foms.

I had a suspicion at first that the Shao was for "little' but I wasn't sure. Definitely makes sense. On that note though, is there a "Da Hu Yan" form?

The first broadsword form looks similar to something we do.

Well, I agree with Trav. The general movement is there, however its weird to see it like that. Its missing a lot of stuff that we had, and has a lot more punches. However, seeing that guy moving like that reminds me of when Sifu Adam did it at full speed. Thank you for the correct, MK, I kept forgetting what the translation was, and thank you for the video.
