Alright, I checked out the link and the homepage (http://www.globalorgasm.org) of the organization promoting the event. I admit at first I thought it a bit trite during these wicked times. However, after reading the scientific research from Princeton University supporting the possibility of human consciousness affecting 'random' events, (http://noosphere.princeton.edu/) the idea is much more compelling.

Sign me up :p

I think that it probably won't work.

1. love or affection is controlled by a love fairy/god. In chinese culture, it is the old man under the moon or Yue Lao that connect the red line between the couple.

2. birth is controlled by another fairy. It is the queen in the heavenly palace that decides boys or girls.

3. war or plaque is controlled by yet another fairy/god. there is a war god and also a plaque god.

4. there is yet another fairy controlling peace. such as Ma Tzu calming the stormy sea for all fisher- and boatsmen.

5. usually they dun work together.

however, if everyone of us may walk toward the east at the same time, we might slow down the revolution of the earth and the sun.

I think not.

The now passed magician Doug henning firmly believed that if we all focused our minds globally upon a single action, that we could manifest anything we directed our minds to.

Interesting theory, but not really doable. the coolective conciousness of humans is an interesting thing to ponder though.

I think the south pole would be closer to the hui yin point of the planet.
