Short time stay in Vancouver

I am look for a place to stay (room for rent) for 2 months in the Richmond Vancouver area. A basement couch is OK too.

sad to say, but unless you got a big chunk of scratch, that's about all yer gonna get anyway in that burg.

it's a way nice town, but hyper expensive for dwellings.
crazy prices there. And I live in Toronto! lol

There's a lot of places that rent out people's apartments up there that are available for short term rent, or you can rent at some hotels -- check if they have a monthly rate.

It's a bit different than in the U.S. For some reason Vancouver is set up better for that sort of thing.

These guys were good when I used them but that was a long time ago: http://www.vancouverrelocation.com/. Prices were about 1/2 what they are now too, as well, in Canadian $$$, with a better U.S. exchange rate.

Richmond is very close to Vancouver, so that's not a big deal.
