Anyone use cotton palm training.Is the result similiar to iron palm traing?

we use this as the last part of our iron palm, to become more internal! i wont go indepth but the inital stages are using other hard substances in a canvas bag and striking it with certain chi kung and meditations! of course dit dar is used!!

i believe the external must be done before the cotton training!

it also trains for internal strikes! :)

How can you fill a bag with cotton? Wouldn't the weight of the bag fall and collapse on itself, flattening the whole thing out? I don't think you could get cotton in a bag.

I have heard that cotton palm can be dangerous when combined with certain iron palms. Does anybody know if this is true? Thanks in advance.

As it has been taught to me cotton palm is more advanced than iron palm.I learned it from a chen tai chi practioner.Dont use any cotten though the way i was taught.Does seem easier on the hands than iron palm.
I dont have any personal opinion as to how advanced it is but it is very internal.

its not as hard on your hands, but i believe that you have to have some external hand training to understand internal cotton palm training!

its used more for penetration, hitting organs and muscles! of course there is more to it than that... ;)

Cotton Palm using a bag full of cotton? lol :D Sometimes its just to easy to spot.
