Sorry...I spelled that wrong. Please give me some background? I love a good history lesson, and some details on the "style", if that's what it is....I suspect it's maybe more of an "aspect"?

It's a complete style. Pretty effective in combat, basically throws, chin na. There are striking techniques although the style aint gonna win any medals for it if you know what i mean.

It also has a reputation of being easy to master, maybe take only 3 years of training.

I think its a beef dish at lee how youngs!
but seriously its spelled shui chiao and sounds like sway chow. It is chinese wrestling and has many great throws along with strikes kicks takedowns and ground fighting.

shuai chiao - I believe it's literally Chinese for "fall?" Anybody?

But yeah, it's Chinese art of takedowns & wrestling...
