May today be a special day in memory of Wong Shun Leung, the man who has changed many of our lifes forever. Let us all take a moment to reflect on his teachings we learned directly from him or trough his great students. May his spirit live on forever like it did the past ten years. All best wishes, may today be a day to remember him...

Ten years already, ...time sure does fly! It only seems like yesterday that we lost you, Sifu. Today I raise a glass to the great times had in your company, to the amazing insights that you shared with us, and to the incredible legacy that you left to us all - the Wing Chun World is all the richer because of you. Rest in Peace.

My feeling today is a mix of the sadness that he is no longer with us, but the wonderful art he left with gives me so much pleasure every day.

I am sitting here musing about a great many things that WSL left behind. Beside his keen faculty of mind, fighting talents, as well as solving fighting problems utilizing WC body details, what sways me most is the force of his sincerity. He really believed in WC truths whenever he promoted WC to the end of his life. He may be inconsistent in some parts of his human life, but his hands always mean what he said about WC at the moment he fought.

WSl taught a guy by the name of Phillip Bayer, a 'cricket' who one day fell into my 'well' ....after that i never croaked again .ribbit slap !! dont ribbit ATTACK ! .
I met WSL on many occasions whenever he came to London, the last time he was eating with several of us in chinatown with my old sifu in London. Afterwards I was asked to escort him to his car [ like he needed help lol] as we walked along quietly, he stopped and turned to me and said loudly "Train Hard " and bear hugged me . Then we walked on again....the only 2 words he ever said to me, but I'll never forget them.
