My dad bought a treadmill from a guy who was moving out and when I went to help him get it, the guy had a free-standing punching bag which he was trying to sell for $150 (originally $250).
I got it down to $100 and took it home, however I've noticed it seems a little light or maybe the base is just too small because it wobbles back and forth a lot. I have it on carpet so it's not that it is sliding around a lot but I'm wondering if there is a way to maybe weigh it down more so that I can get more than 2-3 moves off before having to reset.
Any ideas? It's not a water/sand base so there's nothing to fill up. Maybe I could somehow attach extra weight to it? I just want it to feel more solid when I hit it.
